Phew… can i please point out this is my first time hosting not just any show but a sports show. Can you imagine the pressure >.< But hey as my director from Mocap pointed out. Its my two loves – being on screen and talking about football. Hehe. On a side note I am ecstatic to say I’m learning so much. It’s truly making me like the game even more. Plus I just love the fact of the different people i’m meeting all the time each week.

I will say its not easy to shoot at a mamak.. not your typical shooting spot..right?? o.0 But you know what we’re playing different with this show and I’m still ecstatic to be part of the team… weeeehooooo. I know I know i’m on a high right now. But it’s all in good fun ^_~

We shot the show at a quaint lil 24 hour mamak down in Putrajaya. I have to say thank you to the waiters there who were to patient with us.

First shoot or rehearsal for any show is bound to have a certain amount of chaos to it. No chaos means everything gets spoon fed and possible to take it for granted. Chaos means you get to learn how to make thing better, more systematic, more fun. Besides where is the challenge without chaos! All the same it was a good first shoot.

The first time I had heard about the Make-A-Wish foundation, was on The Apprentice.  WWE Diva Maria Kanellis’s was one of the contestants and the Make-A-Wish Foundation was the charity she was fighting for. Make-A-Wish Foundation grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.

So HELP UNDP Club organised a great charity event benefitting Make-A-Wish International! It was also a collaboration with Celebrity Fitness and Ministry of Sound. The objective of the event is to raise awareness of Make-A-Wish Malaysia and to raise funs for their wish-granting operations. The funds raised would go to Make-A-Wish Malaysia through Make-A-Wish International. It was an entertainining event with dance as one the main showcases of the night. All the dance were directed by Judimar Hernandez, the head judge of So You Think You Can Dance Malaysia.

Arriving early for the event was a feat since there was a massive jam…. just about everywhere! But finally managed to arrive at the spot with a hefty valet parking.. RM18.. >.< Totally worth it

Before that, let me express.

Have you ever had a point in your life that you feel down.. so down and that you can’t talk to anyone. You can’t tell your family because they will say the things you don’t to hear. You can’t share with your friends because you don’t want them to have a bad impression of you…and from experience.. really who can you call a good friend. You can’t tell the person you’re closest to because you are scared of the aftermath. In the end where can you turn too? Other than God of course ^_^.

Ultimately as humans we need to be comforted by others. Emotional torture is enough to drive anyone nuts. Well that’s what the Befrienders are for. They are a non profit organisation that lends a hand or rather an ear to those who need to talk about the troubles they are going through. They provide emotional support without being bias and are there to listen.

This Sat, Befrienders will be celebrating 40 years of providing emotional support to those in the Klang Valley. You can read about article here from the Malay Mail

I can finally get back to proper sleeping “disorders” haha.

It all started with just a simple audition and a meet up. Then next thing you know there I am giving match predictions for the most highly anticipated and watched sport of all time. Now i just have to wait for 3 years or rather 1414 days till the next World Cup in Brazil.. hehe.

The experience has been amazing. The support, encouragement, feedback and people have been wonderful at Astro. The team – if i could make a hand gesture like how the Italians do when they find the food just magnifique -  is just “mwuah”. Oh oh and it makes even cooler that you get to meet people such as the ever cool Abbas Saad (ex Australia International player) and of course Lee Sharpe (ex Manchester United winger and England player) whoooooaaaa.

So let’s just show some shots on my last day of predicting. Of course that was the nail biting end Spain vs Holland. Both teams never won the World Cup before. So that night history was made. So I’m really honored that I got to be a part of World Cup history. In my own way.. let me just bask in it for a minute and think how cool it is hehe

Moving on to pictures of from the Third Place match and the World Cup Final

A couple of reasons really. Firstly it builds your profile everytime you do something. Any small situation or project is just another challenge that will turn into a valuable experience. I believe very much in keeping an optimistic head about things. It’s hard too i assure you, but you have to push forward. Secondly keeping busy will KEEP your mind busy and never idle haha. An idle mind is the beginning of  downfall. You get lazy and unproductive. Now thats a sucky feeling!

But yes back to what i was saying, this month with World Cup on, thats keeping me occupied on the screen for a bit hehe ^_^ and at the same time.. it’s literally show after show with Integrated Expressions and i’m loving it. Skinz Infinite campaign has ended it’s run, Scholl was completed about a week or so ago and now it’s with Websphere. More stuff coming on that. At the same time rehearsals are packed for the Befrienders show in August.

In the meantime watch out for the semi-finals of the World Cup! 

i’ll be on again on Astro channel 805(SD) and 815(HD) on the 7th of July and 8th July.

First was rehearsal at Astro. Big thing is coming up this Friday! I can say that I’m now apart of the FourFourTwo family. It is the start of a very very important “religion” for some haha. Yeap World Cup 2010 South Africe is on this Friday! Big big festival going and no one is going to want to miss it. Wasn’t the first time rehearsing for a camera however it is the first time i have to stare straight at one. Acting most of the time you are suppose to look at the “back of the camera”, not directly at it. Learnt a lot and managed to see Jason Dasey, Jay, Roshan and Natalie do their presenter thing.

Then immediately back to Integrated Expressions for the Scholl (pronounced as “shawl” ) Mini Musica rehearsal. Dance sequence down pack! Woot, it’s looking real nice too. Hope the audience will like it next week.

One thing that people i’ve spoken with in this industry is when you’re in it, is to always keep yourself busy. Well i don’t think it can get any busier than this. Well probably it can but I’m glad that there is still some room to breath. Meaning while i get to have my fill of being at the entertainment forefront, i still get the time with loved ones and friends.

But before i end of the post for the day. Let me just show what I will possibly be doing this coming Friday Can ya take a guess??

New home and new look with some updates. …… Not really it’s been the same home. But there is a new look with some updates!

The blog entries that were here before are well unfortunately removed. I decided to just start everything a new. Starting  from scratch is not always a bad thing. In fact I enjoy looking at blank canvases at times because it allows room for creativity. For some imaginative juices to flow out.

Anyway here’s to maybe more writings from me on the site. Some actual updates and hopefully more castings to come.
