Nicole Scherzinger has been talking about her upcoming movie debut in Men In Black 3 alongside Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith.
“I play a woman in black and leather, “ the 33 year old tantalised. “In some of the scenes I’ve got some serious hardcore rocket launcher. It’s crazy.”
The former Pussycat Doll and new X Factor US judge added that she frequently would use songs to get into character, singing them in her head to get into the right frame of mind.
“I was playing my music in my head, almost like I was doing a music video. It was my song, Poison, and then also Led Zeppelin.”
Well it takes allsorts I guess, and if that worked for her, then it works for me.

MTV Video Music Awards 2011 Tribute to Britney Spears
Friday’s new promo for the MTV Video Music Awards satisfied by announcing there will be a tribute to Britney Spears at the upcoming show, but left us a little confused as to what exactly would be going down come August 28. How do you recap a career that’s included giant snakes, a Las Vegas wedding, an impromptu buzz cut and one memorable umbrella? After the clip dropped musical and visual hints at possible involvement from Madonna, Janet and Michael Jackson, TV producer and casting director Johnathan “Woody” Woodbeck has added to speculation with a recent tweet that included the tribute’s alleged set list. “If this lineup is legit (which I’m told it is) the tribute to Britney at the VMAs is gonna be insanely EPIC!!,” he tweeted on Friday, along with a photo listing the talent scheduled to perform Spears’ singles. The list reads as follows:
Selena Gomez – “…Baby One More Time”
Katy Perry – “Oops!…I Did It Again”
Janet Jackson – “I’m a Slave 4 U”
Demi Lovato – “Toxic”
Ke$ha and Nicki Minaj – “Gimme More”
Lady Gaga – “Circus”
Britney Spears – “Hold It Against Me/I Wanna Go”
The names are accompanied by an asterisk explaining “Madonna presents Ms. Spears with Lifetime Achievement Award.” Overall this collection of 2011?s biggest stars—seven out of eight artists who are featured on our Popdust 40—makes sense: Gomez has featured a Spears medley in recent live shows, Minaj has been opening for Brit all summer and Ke$ha is responsible for writing “Till The World Ends,” all of which make things slightly more personal rather than simply having the ambiguous younger generation of female pop paying tribute to one of their idols would be able to do. Plus, Madge has always played along with Britney’s doe-eyed worship of her, and there was that infamous VMA kiss. But—and we say this with all due respect, Britney—Janet Jackson and Lady Gaga?! While Gaga likely listened to Britney growing up, her hold on pop music today is rooted in such entirely different things: Britney was the dancing sex symbol while Gaga is the defiant and outrageous provocateur.
This is the Internet, so remember to tread with caution. There has been no official word from MTV as of yet, but Woodbeck’s tweet and photo have not been deleted. We’re skeptical that the network would allow such grandiose plans to leak two full weeks ahead of time, but for someone who has had their highs and lows chronicled on the network for over 10 years, we guess Spears deserves one big party.

Former Disney Channel star Orlando Brown was arrested on suspicion of DUI Friday night.
The 23-year-old actor, who played Eddie Thomas on “That’s So Raven” from 2003-2007, was initially pulled over for driving without a license plate, TMZ reports. Officers smelled alcohol on his breath, prompting a field sobriety test.
Though Brown was stopped in front of his house (with his pregnant girlfriend in the car), he was booked at 12:38 on suspicion of DUI. Brown posted $15,000 bail and was released at 7:42 a.m. Saturday.

Andrew Garfield is inspired by Spidey!
Late last month, 27-year-old actor Andrew Garfield from the Social Network, made an appearance at Comic-Con 2011, where he discussed what he learned while filming The Amazing Spider-Man, even saying it “saved my life.”

“Peter Parker has inspired me to be stronger. He inspired Andrew, me, to be braver. It was worth the pain, the bruises, and the blood,” he said during a panel.
“I owe webhead a lot. And Stan [Lee] the man a lot. I’m humbled to be here,” he added.
FYI: Andrew is carrying Ray-Ban caravan flip out sunglasses with interchangeable lenses.

Potterheads in the US better start saving up some $$$!!!! Your vacation

Back in March, we were excited when Warner Bros. announced that theirThe Making of Harry Potter studio tour in the UK would open to fans next spring.
Now, a trailer (above) has been released for the tour, and it looks like it should be an absolutely heavenly experience for hardcore Potter fans!

Warner Bros. has announced that next spring, The Making of HarryPotter walking tour will open at their studios in Leavesden, England. As we’ve previously mentioned, this experience will totally immerse fans in the world of the Harry Potter movies, providing a rare opportunity for fans to see props and effects from all the flicks, as well as walk on the very sets used in the movies, like Dumbledore’s office and the Great Hall.
Wow! We can’t even imagine!
Tickets go on sale for the three-hour tour led by the Skipper later this year.
We’re not huge Harry Potter fans, but if we were, we’d be saving every last nickel we got our hands on so we could see this for ourselves. It sounds like an incredible experience.
Quick question though: Will butterbeer be served????
